Our focused sit down tastings are most commonly booked by food or business associations, wineries, corporate parties, private venues or restaurants for special educational events for club members or special event guests.

For these sit down tastings, we provide the cheese but the wines are not included unless by special request. We can provide consultation on which wines to purchase to pair with the cheeses. The format is educational, we present details about one cheese at a time, make sure that they guests have their cheese and the paired wine in their glasses, then have everyone taste and write down their flavor notes and insights. We ask them to share these insights and answer questions. Then we move on to the next cheese. Typically these pairings include a variety of 5-10 different cheeses depending on how long the event should last and the event budget.

We will set up the table with the cheese but do not set up the room itself, the room should be set in advance. We can advise on the proper setup for this event format.

Pricing starts at $20 per person. These events work best for up to 20 people. For special circumstances and requests we can provide a custom quote. I specifically love the in depth education and interaction that this event format allows.
